Pupils from Katlehong School for the Deaf in Gauteng took to the road on Friday to show their frustration over meals served on the establishment.
According to the Gauteng schooling division, the pupils have been protesting as a consequence of their alleged unhappiness over the selection of meals being served, and so they demanded there be a change within the management on the faculty.
Spokesperson Steve Mabona stated the division’s district officers visited the varsity and managed to defuse the strain.
“The department has committed to attending to all concerns raised by the learners,” he added.
