Dr Anish Shah has been elevated because the managing director and chief govt officer of Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd, as Dr Pawan Goenka retires with impact from April 2, 2021.
Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd appoints Dr Anish Shah as its new MD and CEO, with impact from April 2, 2021. Dr Shah is at the moment serving because the deputy managing director and the group chief monetary officer for the corporate. He replaces Dr Pawan Goenka, who will retire as MD and CEO and as a member, board of administrators, M&M Ltd on April 2, 2021. Dr Goenka had a 27-year run with Mahindra and had the oversight of the auto and farm gear sectors. These will now be headed by Rajesh Jejurikar, who will report back to Dr Shah. This is the primary time within the historical past of the corporate that an MD and CEO may have full oversight and accountability for the Mahindra Group companies.

Dr. Anish Shah is at the moment the Deputy Managing Director and Group CFO for the Mahindra Group. He joined Mahindra in 2015 because the Group President – Strategy, the place he led technique improvement; constructed capabilities corresponding to digitisation and knowledge sciences; enabled synergies throughout Group corporations and managed the Risk and efficiency assessment organisations. Prior to becoming a member of Mahindra, Dr Shah was President and CEO of GE Capital India, the place he led the transformation of the enterprise, together with a turnaround of its SBI Card three way partnership. Dr Shah acquired a Ph.D from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business, a Masters’ diploma from Carnegie Mellon and a post-graduate diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
