Boy knocked off bike by bus during peak-hour rush

A 12-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a bus throughout peak-hour visitors in Perth’s east.

The boy was knocked off his bike on Alton Road in Beechboro when the bus — understood to be a Transperth bus — hit his rear wheel.

Police have been known as to the scene at 3.20pm this afternoon.

It is known the boy suffered a attainable damaged leg and was left ‘distressed’ by the ordeal.

Paramedics rushed the boy and his mom to St John of God Midland.

Transperth has been contacted for remark.
