The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has summoned the alleged mastermind of an unlawful coal-mining rip-off in West Bengal, Anup Manjhi, for questioning in reference to the case on March 30, officers mentioned on Friday.

“The petitioner shall not be arrested until April 6. This order has been passed without going into the merit of the case. We clarify that this order will not restrain the investigation,” a bench headed by Justice DY Chandrachud mentioned.
