Two MBA graduates, each associates, had been arrested in Warangal district on Sunday for allegedly indulging in snatching chains to fulfill their bills, a senior police official stated.
Three gold chains and two bikes had been seized from them. While one ran a paan store, the opposite was a medical consultant, senior police official Tarun Joshi stated.
The males, each aged 32 and alcohol addicts, used to spend their earnings lavishly and hatched a plan to earn fast cash by chain snatching as they had been unable to fulfill their bills, police stated.
Going round on bikes, they targetted ladies strolling alone in rural areas and snatched their chains.
Police arrested the duo on suspicion once they tried to flee after noticing automobile checks had been being carried out.
